OC Collab?

Hot Girl Sunny is a community dedicated to creating content centering around the women of One Piece. We host a number of events, big and small. Currently, we are putting together a Big Bang for the members of our discord server to create a Crew of OC's!The HGS OC Collab Big Bang is a collaborative fandom event where authors and artists work together to create a unique and brand new Pirate Crew of OC's and tell the story of their adventures in the One Piece world!!!Writers, artists and betas will fill out a participant form at the same time. They'll be teamed up based on their rankings in the participant survey. Together, they'll decide on the direction of their project.Teams will consist of 2-4 Artists and 1-2 Writers. Writers will contribute 5k words and artists will develop 1 work of art to accompany it. Writers and Artists may both create OC's, each group will be able to decide how many crew members they wish to have!Once completed, The Fics and accompanying Artworks will be shared to the public on Ao3 and Tumblr! Here at HGS, we love community.
We host weekly challenges as a way for artists and writers to produce something fun and new each week!Each month, there is a 'goal' for creators. For artists, it may be shading, composition, or color. For writers, it may be dialogue, characterization or suspense! The goal is a way to try to improve a part of your creative process. In our server, we have a 'WIP's/feedback' channel where creators can discuss things they may be struggling with and get advice from fellow artists/writers!Each week, there is a prompt for the challenge. Prompts are suggested when a creator submits a work to the weekly challenge. These may be things like flying, horror, album cover(to name some of our past favs>.<) This gives creators a starting point as to what exactly to create!The weekly challenge is an honored tradition at HGS, and we look forward to the incredible submissions we get each week. It is amazing what you can do with just an idea and a goal!
